WHO I AM
Hello! My name is Chad Bara and I am a student at the Culinary Institute of the Pacific at Kapi'olani Community College. I have always loved food and my trips to France really inspired me to learn the art. In 2012 I decided to enroll in the program at KCC, and I have loved every minute of it. I have learned from great instructors, made many new friends, and learned how to cook. I hope to continue to improve my skills through contact with other great chefs and hard work.

SPEAKING CALENDAR
From 1999 to 2011, I worked as Corporate Sales Representative at Borders Ward Centre, a tremendous learning experience. I enjoyed it immensely and I got to meet great people, like Marcel Marceau.
PAST & PRESENT
After Borders closed, I decided that I wanted to learn how to cook, so I enrolled at Kapi'olani Community College. Here I am (in the middle) at Ho'okipa 2013.
At my current job, with the Chef and some of the nursing staff at Hale Ku'ike. My position as line cook has been another great learning opportunity for me.
